SmartACB is a calculator. It applies the adjusted cost base rules used for Canadian capital gains to the transactions you give it and shows you the result, with the working. During the free beta the service is provided as is, without any warranty, and features may change or be withdrawn.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you enter or import, for reviewing the results, and for what you file with the Canada Revenue Agency. Keep your password private and tell us if you think your account has been used without permission.

Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, SmartACB and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including penalties, interest or reassessments resulting from amounts reported on a tax return.
Accounts and termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to access other users' data. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
